Drafting for the Demon Wars

Accomplishments: 1^st Arc of Demon Wars is Drafted

I figured “why not!” If it was going to twist my arm I might as well write something down. In the end if I don’t end up using these 3,000+ words so be it. At least there’s something of a guideline to follow.

The First Act went smoothly enough, though sometimes I really hate being a spectator to my own work. It took some nice turns with a seemingly insignificant event, kind of like in the First book, when ends up being important to the overall story. I’m not so sure if its really valid for this story though.

All in all I like the scene, and I will likely keep it as long as it’s willing to be built upon.

In this first Act: It’s final exam time for the Council’s Apprentices before they are ushered off into the full heat of the Demon Wars. It seemed simple enough, retrieve said artifact from inside dangerous testing ground, return alive. Easy! Until they open a demon’s den to the world.

I’m quite excited to see what the second act holds. Oh right, I have to write that.

The Awakening: Series Breakdown

The story has mutated and is attempting to move on faster than I can or have time to write it. It’s moved on to book two focusing on the how’s and what’s that will be its focus. Luckily, I’ve been writing down seeds as they occur to me.

My book is finally Titled as is the Series, now called: The Awakening.

Book 1: Dreamscape

Overview: Dezmond seeks the help of prime evil God to help the human survive the Demon Wars, but can humanity survive its help?

Book 2: The Demon Wars

Overview: The Construct Astral Daamon is finally accepted amongst the rank of the Elite and is promptly sent to fight in the Demon Wars. However, once she begins to question the reality of the situation, the Council Marks her for Death.

Book 3: Untitled

Overview:  A secret society bent on initializing the Final Judgement seeks out the First’s Avatar. The Constructs learn that one amongst them is this Avatar that they seek.

Book 4: Awakening

Overview:  William believing that he is The First’s incarnation, sets out to recruit Seth as his Harvenger of Death, much to Astral’s dismay.

Book 5: Judgement

Overview: Astral sets out to stop Seth and William from unleashing the Final Judgement.
